***Press Release*** Medina Campaign Ready for Final Stretch

“I will be the ‘People’s Mayor’ and accountable to the taxpayers of San Antonio.  Not the city manager.  Not the paid lobbyists.  And, not the special interests,” stated San Antonio Mayoral Candidate Manuel Medina.

He appointed a Campaign Treasurer, Tom Daniels, on December 16, 2016 and declared his independence from special interests by loaning $250,000 to his campaign.  To finish strong, he recently loaned the campaign an additional $100,000; and, to date, he has raised almost $50,000.

Total Cash-On-Hand is $239,801.79.

“We are in a strong position financially, and ready for the final stretch.” said Medina.

Manuel Medina’s Response to Brian Chasnoff

Yesterday, April 4th, before the steps of the Express-News building, I called for the San Antonio Express-News to hold Brian Chasnoff accountable for his column in which he questioned my truthfulness about being a patriotic American citizen and attempted to manipulate his readers into believing that my continuous residence was not in the United States.  In response to this, Brian Chasnoff and the Express-News have decided to double down with their implications and stand behind Mr. Chasnoff’s words.
